For the better convenience of the customers, Walmart offers return policies on most of the products purchased. Note: Walmart owns the right to warn, limit, and decline any product and can refuse any return without any explanation despite the customer having the receipt.

Walmart's return policy rules for Electronics

Normally, a 90 days bracket is given for the return of purchases you made from Walmart.com or its store counterpart.

Though, the time bracket comes with a few exceptions, plus, purchase receipts are highly required when returning electronic products.

• For postpaid cellular products, returns should be made within 14 days of purchase without incurred damages, along with their receipt, in order to get full refunds or exchange.


• Customers need to return items like camcorders, computers, digital cameras, digital music players, drones, e-readers, e-tablets, PS units, prepaid cell phones, portable video players, and video game hardware within 15 days of purchase with a return receipt to refund or exchange them.

The seriousness of the defects in the electronic device(s) is/are considered while making the return.

The original receipt is mandatory for those customers who are looking for price adjustments.

When you return item with a valid receipt:

• The return of the products are eligible when made with the receipt at the respective tenure mentioned in the original receipt, then the refund is granted as per the original payment method.


• If you purchase the product with cash or cheque, the refund will be possible in cash for that product.


• If you have purchased the product using a credit card then a refund will be issued to the same. If original credit card is not available while scanning the TC number on the receipt, then a refund will be processed to the gift card.


• If a receipt shows debit for an item bought using a debit card, then a refund is done to the debit card or by cash.


• Refund is issued only to the same debit card if the receipt doesn't show debit.


• While scanning the TC number on the receipt, if the original debit card is not available, then a refund will be issued to the gift card.

Return without Receipt:

This can only be possible when the government-issued ID and the verification process of permitted returns are approved by Walmart.
